Hilty Engineering AG, founded in 1965, has since developed into a specialist for complex finished parts and assemblies manufactured by injection moulding. Hilty already supports customers in the development and design of new components. The moulds, which are designed in advance using filling simulation, are manufactured in the company's own tool shop. The modern machinery includes injection moulding machines with clamping forces from 180 to 1100 kN.

KUNDERT AG is a leading Swiss supplier of technical plastic components for industry, medical technology and food processing. Founded in 1906, the company's core competences include machined parts, moulded parts and polyurethane coatings as well as a wide range of semi-finished plastic products. State-of-the-art production facilities in the areas of milling, turning and polyurethane moulding enable the efficient production of precise, high-quality components from the smallest prototype quantities to large series.

By combining the two companies, the competences in the field of plastics production and processing are combined and synergies are created. The addition of KUNDERT AG's plastic machining, polyurethanes and semi-finished plastic products divisions to Hilty Engineering AG's toolmaking and plastic injection moulding divisions enables us to provide our customers with a comprehensive service in the field of plastics in terms of materials and manufacturing processes.

Both companies will continue to operate at their existing locations with their well-established and highly trained teams. Pascal Kundert, CTO of KUNDERT AG, will take over the management of Hilty Engineering AG on 1 June 2024. Daniel Hilty will remain with the company, ensuring a clean and smooth handover.
