Temperature management
Using the proximity to Lake Zurich to achieve resource-saving temperature management in the building? This is how it works.
During the construction of the building, the installation of an energy-intensive air conditioning system was deliberately avoided. In order to be able to regulate the air temperature in the building, energy-saving ventilation systems were installed that allow the air to circulate throughout the building. In this way, the air is always circulated through the cool, groundwater basement, where it can cool down. With this method, the air can be cooled down by about 5 °C in summer.
Furthermore, the absence of air-conditioning and the use of sophisticated ventilation systems results in significantly fewer draughts in the offices and production rooms. This creates a much more pleasant working climate, which leads to fewer colds among employees.
